Nyasa takeover derailed, some Bullets Trustees get cold feet
Some Nyasa Big Bullets have grown cold feet sponsors Nyasa Manufacturing Company from taking over ownership of Malawi’s most successful football club.
Bullets, registered as a trust, has been operating as a non-profit making club but the executive committee extraordinary general meeting in June resolved to effect a takeover by Nyasa amidst financial crisis rocking the People’s Team midway through a K500 million five- year deal.
The move means that Bullets trustees, executive and supporters committees will no longer have any say in the club’s management.
But some Trustees are refusing to signed Memorundum of Understand to officially handover the club.
The board of trustees comprises Kinnah Phiri, Malinda Chinyama, Ruth Chenda Mkandawire, Jim Kalua, Victor Msowoya and James Busile.
Chairperson Noel Lipipa in charge of the ownership change has admitted there are some challenges before the official taker over but is optimistic it will be done.
Lipipa said change of ownership will be good for the club’s commercialisation.

At least sanity has prevailed to the trustees! A lot of shady deals have taken place that the public should know, Few misguided supporters have turned into millionaires overnight from the dull Jews.
There is a strong legal suit that is being framed to be dropped at the earliest!
