Police investigate top civil servant Muhara’s car accident

Malawi Police say they investigating a car accident involving chief secretary to government Lloyd Muhara which some people suspect was suspicious and targetted.

Muhara: Unhurt

The accident happened on Friday after he knocked off from work when his official Mercedenz Benz rammed into a prado vehicle.

Soon after that, sketchy information available show the prado car driver started off chasing the chief secretary’s vehicle.

On the way, another vehicle joined in, chasing Muhara’s vehicle until the two chasing vehicles disappeared, according to Nyasa Times sources.

Police headquarters spokesperson James Kadadzera confirmed the incident and said police are investigating the owners of the two vehicles that engaged in the chase exercise with the chief secretary’s vehicle.

Muhara is said to have not been injured.
