Pray for Malawi and Mutharika, devil’s taken grip –  Apostle

Apostle Mc Hellings Kayala, of Mzuzu’s Christ Fellowship Centre for All Nations (CFCAN), says Malawi is headed for disaster arguing the devil is controlling most of the country’s leaders.

Kayala warned that important personalities in “our society will die” mysteriously should there be no prayer.

“There are dark forces at play amongst our elite. If we do not play, they will die one by one and this will cause cacophony in this country,” he warned.

Kayala said on Sunday at his Mzuzu church, during a gathering dubbed ‘Miracle Service’, that “serious” prayers are needed for Malawi and President Peter Mutharika.

“We’re headed for disaster. Our country will face indescribable problems if we do not pray. Let’s pray for Malawi and for our President Peter Mutharika,” said Kayala.

He brushed off the generally said notion that Malawi is a God fearing nation.

“They say we are a God fearing notion, but the fact is that we are not. The devil has taken grip of the country. He is controlling our leaders and our politicians,” he said.

He explained in an interview after the service that most politicians will be bankrupt and will be forced to accept money from the “people working for the anti-Christ” ahead of the 2019 polls.

According to Kayala, if that happens, it will “be the end of the country.”

He reiterated: “We need to pray for our leaders. We seriously need to pray to avoid chaos and confusion.”

Kayala and his CFCAN are gaining ground in the northern region city. Just in a few months, the ministry has managed to raise their own prayer house and gets hundreds of people for its services every day.
