A Malawi Prophet, Austin Liabuya who has all along said God spoke to him that Peter Mutharika will win the May elections, has changed tune saying he has seen Mutharika losing the election in a ‘movie’ God showed him today.
The Man of God has hinted that Malawi president Joyce Banda will renew her mandate in the forthcoming elections. Taking to his official Facebook wall this morning, Liabunya in his status titled ‘It’s you again,’ referring to 20th May Joyce Banda victory wrote.
“Just woke up from watching a video of May 20 elections, I am just amazed of who will win, contrary to people’s expectations, suffering again because someone chose to lose the already God-given opportunity simply by choosing to disobey His prophet (Liabunya). This is the third time God is showing me a video of the coming elections. Thank you Lord for trusting me to watch this; it’s your grace! Numbers 12:6,” Liabunya submitted.
Liabunya said the change of prophecy comes after Mutharika failed to meet him to have spiritual discussion as a condition for him to get the presidency
On why his prophecy was attached with a condition, Liabunya referred to the Old Testament scriptures where God gave conditions for people to obey God if some good things are happen to them or face calamities if they chose to disobey.
Liabunya said this was also the case with his prophecy as God gave him a condition for the fulfilment of his prophecy and the condition was simple, have Mutharika go to Liabunya’s residence so the man of God should instil in him ‘spiritual consciousness.’
The Prophet is on record saying that ‘God can’t give this nation to a non-believer from a believer’ and this might be in line with his 2012 prophecy that Mutharika was to introduce the worship of Satan and this is why God through His servant Liabunya wanted to cleanse him.
According to Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Reverend Lazarus Chakwera, who admits that he believes in prophecy, is on record evoking the scriptures that you need to test the spirits if is from the Lord .
Chakwera warned Malawians to tread carefully on handling prophesies arguing even prophets that are sent by a true God can be deceived.
“Another challenge is that, most Malawians have developed appetite for prophesies. This has resulted into some prophets just deducing contents of a particular situation into a prophesy,” he said.
Chakwera also claimed that one of the prophets in the country telephoned his saying he has a prophesy for the MCP leader and wanted to book an appointment to deliver it.
“Prophesies are never given in private. Someone even proposed that he should be my personal prophet. I love prophesies, but as the bible clearly put it, we must test each and every prophesy,” he said.Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
