Prophet Liabunya claims Mutharika’s not God’s choice for Malawi
Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) presidential candidate in the May 20 elections Peter Mutharika will not be voted for the top political officie as incumbent President Joyce Banda will continue as president, Prophet Liabunya has claimed, citing “prophecies”.
Releasing what he termed God’s last word on Malawi’s tripartite elections on his official Facebook page, Liyabunya said Mutharika had missed the opportunity from God because of disobedience.
“My fellow Malawians, you know well how I have been on the fore front speaking to the nation of Malawi everything that has been taking place before it did.
“Straight to the point: According to the prophecy God gave us last year, it showed that a man would rule Malawi after the elections and God told him things to do to compliment the promise but did not do because of influence and I feel very sorry for the lost opportunity,” wrote the Prophet in an apparent reference to Mutharika whom through a series of prophecies Liabunya publicised was tipped to meet him to receive God’s advice preparing him for the presidency, a thing Mutharika despised.
The Man of God claimed in the prophecy, God revealed to him that Mutharika “will not rule and this will cause clashes between supporters. The result will be disappointment.”
Liabunya insisted he was relaying to the people a message that has come from God which we are now relaying to the people.
