PSL late ending forces Cosafa to shift competition dates
Council of Southern Africa Football Association (Cosafa) has shifted the dates of the 16th edition of the competition, Football Association of Malawi (Fam) has announced.

Initially, the competition was scheduled to kick off on 15th to 29th May, 2016 and has been rescheduled to between 11th and 26th June, 2016.
According to information posted on Fam website, the change is aimed at giving a chance to all nations who participate in the competition and have their players plying their trade in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) to feature at the tournament.
According to Fam, South Africa’s PSL and National First Division clubs will still be in action up to and including 29th May, 2016.
Meanwhile, Flames coach Ernest Mtawali has released names of players to start camping ahead of the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifying game against Guinea next month.
According to Fam, all locally based players are supposed to report for camping at the Mpira Lodge in Blantyre on Sunday 21st February, 2016 while foreign based will join the camp soon.
