Rangers win, KB drop points in Chipiku League

Green Rangers FC has intensified its campaign for the title in the K3.2 million Chipiku Central Region Football League (CRFL) as they thumped Mtsiriza United 4-1 at their backyard this week with two goals each from Captain Sousah Kashoni and Kondwani Zaona.

Rangers’ combination of Kinsley Siwelo, Kashoni and Victor Mussa were marvel to watch.

In other game current league leaders Kamuzu Barracks (KB) failed to utilize home ground advantage when they were beaten by Maicc with goals from Aaron Makonje and Gerald Mwanza while KB consolation goal was scored by Ted Kalinda from penalty spot.

Action in CRFL

In other matches, Dwangwa United beat Adams 4-1, Nkhotakota beat Support Battalion 2-1, Ocassor beat Msundwe 1-0, and Kasungu police drew 1-1 with Kamuzu Barracks.

Malembo Beat Black eagles 3-0, Nkhoma Stars drew 2-2 with Kasungu Medicals, KIA eagles beat Malembo 3-1 and Ngolowindo beat Air wing 3-0.
