SF International applauded for fulfilling 2018/19 tax obligations to Malawi govt
SF international has been applauded for fulfilling all tax obligations for the period of 2018/2019 to the Malawi’s tax collector, Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) for two consecutive years.
This follows another success story in 2017/2018 period where the company also led by example by passing the tax compliance to the tax collector.
MRA has since hailed the company for its continued obligation to accomplish all the tax compliances to MRA without being ‘pushed”.
On November 21, 2014, MRA arrested SF International’ boss Shiraz Ferreira on allegations of ‘tax evasion’. Later on, the charges were dropped.
The MRA is currently enjoying increased tax collection drive after engaging in extra gear since July, 2016 which surplus collection recorded against every monthly target.
