Silver held by 10-man Escom as Civo, Tigers in draws

The electricians were first to notch in the goal through Manase Chiyesa before the Bankers equalized courtesy of Rodrick Gonani, who scored one of the best goals in the league.

Escom missed an opportunity to increase the tally when Chiyesa missed on spot kick after Noel Mkandawire was brought down the Bankers right back Ndaona Daisi.

Daisi appeared in the picture to score the second goal for the defending champions
before Mkandawire’s equalizer.

On recess, it was 2-2.

In the second half of the game, former Complex Madrid, Aiko Maluwa, who was also
voted man of the match, increased the tally for the Blantyre based side to make it Escom 3-2 to Silver.

In the dying minute of the match, Escom United goalkeeper, Charles Swini was shown marching orders after accumulating two yellow cards for delaying tactics.
