Skippers pip Zomba Queens to win Malawi Women Presidential Cup
Skippers (formerly DD Sunshine) have wom the Presidential Women Football Cup after beating Zomba Super Queens 5-0 in the finals played on Sunday at Civo stadium in Lilongwe.
Linda Kasenda scored four goals while the final goal was scored by Bridget Nkuzilire.
Kasenda scooped the top goal scorer award after scoring 29 goals in the competition.
Skipper are the most successful women’s football club in Malawi.
