‘Snake woman’ causes commotion at hospital in Dedza
People at Dedza District Hospital were amazed with a woman who came with a terrifying snake in a sack when she came as a guardian to a relative patient at the hospital.
The woman (name withheld) came as a guardian some days ago at the hospital but had a sack which she never opened for days to the dismay of fellow guardians at Dedza District Hospital guardian shelter.
Then after some days her child decided to view the contents of the sack only to see a big snake coming out of it.
When the old woman came around, all she did was to play with the awesome reptile.
She was taken to Dedza Police Station where she has been found innocent but people in the guardian shelter have asked the authorities to dismiss the woman, saying she is a threat to mankind with her prowess of keeping and playing with deadly beasts.
Police in Dedza have confirmed the development but declined to comment more on the matter.

That is not a poisonous snake that’s why she is able to play with it. Let her try to tame a black mamba or other poisonous snake. muzamva zothaitha. These people just try to play mind games with village people bcs they know that these people believe in anything bcs of their narrow thinking
I do not see anything strange in all this. In many other countries you will find people who play with snakes. This snake is a constrictor nsato (python) type. It kills by constriction. If you play around with it , it fails to constrict your body and hence it can not break your ribs to swallow you. This is what I see on National Geography! Indians have learnt to play with venomous cobras!
