SULOM keeps Masters-Bullets fixture at 3pm
The FDH Bank Premiership showdown between Masters FC and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will kick off at 3pm on Sunday after Super League of Malawi (SULOM) rejected a request to move the match to an evening slot.

Masters had pushed for the Bingu National Stadium encounter to start at 6pm, but league bosses have stood firm and retained the original kick-off time.
The decision comes as investigations continue into the controversial abandonment of Masters’ league match against Karonga United on 18 October.
In a letter to the clubs, SULOM pointed to unresolved reports and security concerns surrounding night matches as the key reasons behind the ruling.
“Given the outstanding reports and security concerns surrounding evening fixtures, SULOM has decided to maintain the previously communicated kick-off time of 15:00 hours,” the league said.
The ruling means there will be no lights, no late kick-off and no change of plans for one of the most eagerly awaited fixtures of the season.
With the off-field debate settled for now, attention turns to the pitch as Masters prepare to host title-chasing Bullets in a match that is expected to draw a huge crowd in Lilongwe.
