Among other things, a statement released by Sulom signed by its General Secretary Williams Banda indicates that Mafco disrupted the normal proceedings of the match as the game had to be stopped for 12 minutes.

Striker Richard Mbulu and a Mr. Sichali were also found guilty by the Sulom disciplinary committee for brawl and threats issued to referee of the day Wanneck Mlenga.

The other count is that of pitch invasion in which Mbulu who was red carded during the game and Sichali who was sent to sit at open stands were found in the field of play after the fracas erupted.

The two have been fined K150,000.00 each as per article 22.L and K15,000.00 is for clearing the red card shown to Mbulu plus an extra K20,000.00 for being sent off for the third time as per article 22.

Mbulu and Dave Banda of Kamuzu Barracks have made a record of their own this season for being sent off three times.

Mbulu who obviously seem to be the major culprit in the whole ordeal has also been fined K250,000.00 for jumping over the fence which is contrary to article 21.12.

All the fines are totaling to K605,000.00 and are to be paid before Mafco’s next fixture without fail this is according to the statement.
