SuperSport to beam live Malawi Queens Fast5 matches
Malawians can afford a smile as they will be to watch and follow all the proceedings concerning their beloved Malawi netball team, the Queens’ participating at the 2016 Fast5 World Netball Championship series.

This follows the announcement by Multichoice Malawi that all the Queens matches will be beamed live on Super Sport.
Multichoice Malawi Marketing Manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda confirmed the good news on Thursday and ssured Malawians that the schedule will be released soon.
“It is a great news to Malawians. All Malawi national netbal team games will be beamed live on SuperSport. We will try to release the schedule shortly,” said Nyirenda.
The tournament starts this Saturday at the Hisense Arena in Melbourne Australia with only the top six cream netball nations in the world taking part.
Malawi who in 2014 finished on position six will start their campaign with a date against host Australia on Saturday afternoon before meeting Jamaica and England the same day.
The action will continue on Sunday with Malawi facing continental rivals South Africa and later Newzealand.
The team left the country on Monday this week with a single mission of top four finish according to coach Griffin Saenda.
“At such tournaments you always have a target and our target this year is to finish in the top four. I have confidence and trust in the squad I have assembled and this will happen,” said Saenda before departure at the Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in the Capital Lilongwe.
The Fast5 is played using morden rules wherebyeach team features only five players, the quarters are shortened and it involves multiple and double point shots based on a distance a basket is scored from.
All the participating teams play each other in a round of robin format and the top four progresses to the finals.
New Zealand are the tops the highest winners chart since the Fast5 was introduced in 2009 having won the championship in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013.
England were the winners in 2014.
