Bullets announced the firing of Tewesa and Head Coach Franco Ndawa on Monday following an Executive Committee meeting held over the weekend.

“I am happy that I have now officially be fired and I am not bitter. Now I will be an ordinary supporter,” said Tewesa to Nyasa Times.

But Tewesa said no reasons have been given for his firing and that he is yet to receive a formal communication.

“I haven’t received any letter confirming my firing but I have verbally be informed and no reasons have been given” confirmed Tewesa.

However, Tewesa admitted he will miss the players and supporters whom he claim loves him and the way he has been discharging his duties.

“Surely I will miss the players and supporters they love me so much. But it is my wish that the team continues to perform well. If there is anyone I wronged during my tenure of office, I apologize and let them forgive me,” said Tewesa.

During his two and a half year stint with Bullets as T.D, Tewesa won two league tittles, Carlsberg Cup and recently the Presidential Cup.

Bullets interim General Secretary revealed on Tuesday that the position of T.D at Bullets has been abolished at the meantime.

Moyo said eleven executive committee members who were present at the meeting voted against coach Franco Ndawa while on Tewesa, two out of eleven voted in favour of the controversial Technical Director.

Meanwhile, Moyo has confirmed that Bullets players have received all their signing on fee due.

He also said their injured goalkeeper Vincent Gona will undergo an operation at Beit Cure Hospital in Blantyre any day as the club has fully paid his medical bill.
