Tigresses will bring OG Issa title back to Kanjeza, claims coach
Bingu Tigresses assistant coach, Charles Mhango has vowed that the team’s technical committee will mastermind to grab away the OG Issa Southern Netball League in the hands of the holders, Escom Sisters.
Mhango told Nyasa Times that their mission was to whisk away the League in the hands of the electricians, who are holders after winning it last season against Tigresses.
He said watching Escom celebrate title win last season will be enough incentive for Tigresses to have a triumphant 2012/13 season.
“We are not ready to drop any point. We can assure our fans that this season will belong to us and we have all what it takes to grab the league from Escom,” said Mhango.
Mhango boosted of young and upcoming players like Laurine Ngwira, Sindi ‘Sniper’ Simutowe, Ellen Chibokho, as some of the players to take them all the way to the promising land.
On Sunday, July, 7, 2012, Tigresses have what looks like an easy task against Rock Quiz at Blantyre Youth Centre.
Mhango stressed that Rock Quiz’s encounter will be a walk over for them .
Some of the notable players expected to feature in Sunday’s match are Beatrice Kadango,
Grace Mwafulirwa, Ellen Chibokho and Lauren Ngwira.
After Tigresses match, it will be the turn of MTL Queens, who have also a simple fixture against Chiradzulu.
After the exit of their vast experienced coach, Edith Kaliati, MTL new technical panel, which is comprised of Sylivia-Mtetemera, is trying to assemble a new squad in the likes of Thandi Magaleta, Memory Mwanzani and Riyana Mtenje.
MTL Queens and Chiradzulu game will kick-off at 12:00.
The third game on the same date, same venue will be between champions, Escom Sisters, who are scheduled to take on Glass Bank at 1:30pm.
With the likes of Caroline ‘Ayuda’ Ngwira, Bridget Kumwenda, Jessica ‘Agogo’ Mazengera and Towera ‘Tobe’ Vinkhumbo, Escom coach, Griffin ‘Zagalo’ Saenda has all what it takes to collect maximum points.
Other matches will be between Woget versus Chilomoni while in Zomba Triggers takes on Chitakale,as Prison will be tussling with Aquaid.
