Tom likambale on Ansah

Abale, ai ndithu. Please give Jane Ansah a break. Yes, the buck, or the ultimate responsibility for the conduct of this election – good or bad – stops at her desk as Chief Executive Officer of the Malawi Electoral Commission. She probably made mistakes like any human would, but those issues are now being adjudicated in court.

The ferocious attacks on her person and her family are really uncalled for.
I am not a member of the DPP. I am disappointed that the DPP won the presidential race. But I do not think the head of the electoral commission deserves the ways in which she is being treated on social media platforms.

The issues are now in the constitutional court. Let us peacefully await the court’s ruling and govern ourselves accordingly.

Vituperating  Jane Ansah and slandering her family is really out of bounds. She is a professionally accomplished woman.

As such she is a role model to many Malawian young ladies. Please let us wait for the courts to rule. Habiba Osman and others, please help defend this lady until the courts certify her culpability. This is really getting out of hand, amangwetu. Let Malawi be a land of peace, abale.
Zomwezi mpaka apa? Ayi tikuonjeza. No no no no zankira nkira.
