Walter concerned with Nyasa Bullets turmoil: Can scare sponsors

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has expressed its concern with the unrest at Nyasa Big Bullets saying it can scare both current and potential sponsors to venture into football.

Walter Nyamilandu: Bullets confusion not good

FAM President Walter Nyamilandu expressed his concern during the prize presentation of Master Security Services Southern Region Football Association League held on Friday at Chiwembe Village.

Nyamilandu commended the executive of Southern Region Football Association League for running the league without hustles.

” I would like to commend Southern Region Football Association of League for managing the sponsorship very well,” Nyamilandu said.

“What is happening at Bullets is not good to football because it tarnishes the image of sponsors which can scare them.”

He appealed to Bullets to put their house in order to make peace with Nyasa Manufacturing Company who had threatened to with the 5-year K500 million.

Bullets were embroiled in in-fighting over differences concerning the commercilisation of the club with the establishment of a secretariat

. Apparently Fam through its President Nyamilandu was instrumental in brokering the deal.
