Nakamura: Suprlus to requirements

According to an inside source at Wanderers, the fired players include Japanesse attacker Genk Nakamula, former Big Bullets striker Jimmy Zakazaka, Ishmael Thindwa, Ibrahim Sadik, Patrick Gunde, Mapopa Kaunda, Sparrow Msowoya, Peter Nselema, Elia Phiri , Peter Munthali and two Nigerian exports.

The development comes days after the Club General Secretary Mike Butao revealed that they will fire some of their players including those that were loaned out to other clubs whose performances haven’t sharpened up.

Butao told Mkwaso newspaper recently that only Precious Msosa will be returned following his tremendous improvement after being loaned out to Master Security Services FC who are set for their debut season inthe Super League after being promoted into the elite league from the Central Region Football League.

He scored 24 goals but was not good enough to grab the golden boot award.

Meanwhile, Wanderers Executive Committee has given their coaching panel a target of winning the league or else face the chop.

The nomads last won the league in 2006 when Telecom Networks Malawi (TNM) took over sponsorship of the Super League.
