Wanderers deny Silver‘s Malata link

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers  Have dismissed reports claiming they are interested in signing  Silver Strikers and Flames on and off international defender Lucky Malata.

Silvers Lucky Malata said to be on the hide and seek move

Malata has been the centre of transfer speculations during the ongoing January transfer window.

Unconfirmed reports  states that the players’ contract at the Central Bankers expired at the end of last season and that the player is refusing to enter into fresh negotiations with the club.

Several media houses alleges that Malata was spotted in the Commercial City of Blantyre few days ago a development that has raised eye brrows among supporters from both quarters and concluding that the player is indeed in talks with the Nomads.

Wanderers Generel Secretary Mike Butao denied the allegations and refused to comment much on the matter when contacted by Nyasa Times.

He further said there is nothing to do with transfers at nomads so far but promised to come up with an official announcement once they sign any player.

“No comment. When we have any news we will release it. Signing of a player or players is not confidential stuff” said Butao.

He added that he can’t be responding to rumours because they are just too many during the transfer window.
