Wanderers start pre-season training at Sports Club
Malawi football kings Mighty Be Forward Wanderers resumed pre-season training on Tuesday morning, and captain Joseph Kamwendo is already looking forward to the upcoming campaign.


The vastly experienced midfielder stressed the importance of hard work during pre-season so that the team can do well in the new season.
“I am looking forward to pre-season,” Kamwendo told Nyasa Times.
“What you put in at training during pre-season is what you get out for the rest of the season,” he said.
There were new faces spotted during their first training like that of Premier Bet Wizards duo of Dennis Chembezi and NikizaImable.
Also present on their new catch were trio from Azam Tigers, William Thole, Dan Kumwenda and Peter Cholopi.
Some of the old guards present were the likes of Amos Bello, Lucky Malata, Alfred Manyozojnr, Francis Mulimbika, Foster Namwela, Harry Nyirenda, PeterWadabwa.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Nomads might travel to Mozambique this coming weekend to play a friendly match.
TheNomads finished last season on a high note, as they clinched the TNM Super League after missing out on the Carlsberg and Airtel Top 8 Cup.
Currently, they are preparing for the CAF Champions League against As Vita from DRC in February .
