The elaborate creation, designed by H Clothings, saw Navicha command the stage in a dramatic gown featuring a flowing, textured train evoking a cascading river winding down a mountainside, paired with a bold red and gold crown and a striking black and red bodice.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the design, flooding social media with gushing comments — and H Clothings itself was quick to respond to the adoring feedback.

Replying to one fan on TikTok, the brand wrote: “Where do I start from? It’s the simplicity of…” — with the response cut off mid-sentence online, leaving followers eager for more detail on the thinking behind the striking piece.

The outfit, part of the pageant’s national costume segment, appeared to draw heavily on natural and cultural imagery, with its sweeping train evoking rivers, landscape and heritage — themes commonly used by pageant designers to represent their home countries on the world stage.

The look quickly went viral, with excitable reactions pouring in online, and Malawians rallying behind the design as a proud moment for the country’s representation at the prestigious international pageant.
