Yasin Osman returns as Wanderers FC coach

Mighty Wanderers FC appears set to hire Yasin Osman as its new head coach.

Osman has confirmed that he will be charged with improving Wanderers fortunes in the league after a disappointing form recently.

Despite Nomads general secretary David Kanyenda keeping a tight lid on the development, Osman who once served the club and coached Malawi national team, confirmed a deal has been reached by the two parties.

Osman said he has agreed with Wanderers FC on a deal “in principle.”

He however said he will start his work – one of the toughest jobs in the local soccer scene – when a contract has been finalised and signed on the agreed terms.

Osman has been offered the coaching role as replacement of Franco Ndawa who was sacked last week following poor results.

Wanderers want an experienced coach of Osman’s calibre to employ the attractive, possession-based style of play.

Currently, Felix Fosiko is the caretaker coach team with the assistance of Albert ‘Kika’ Mpinganjira.
