Zathu back with Season 5: New character Jijo brings new thrills

In just two years, Zathu pa Wailesi continues to wow its audience with yet another season of thrills, laughter and drama.

In its endless drama, season 5 of Zathu will hit the airwaves on 22nd July with the exciting introduction of a new character,”George aka Jijo “the Joker”.

Jijo is street smart and intelligent, 17-year-old form 4 self-boarding student at Mamzoli secondary school.

However, he is also mischievous and treads on the edges of the law one too many times throughout Season 5.

“I do what I need to do to get things done,” Jijo real name Jeremiah Chigwenembe said in an interview with Nyasa Times.

But, what will Zathu Band think of him? Will Jijo reject the hand of friendship? Will the friends and all-knowing and non-judgmental Gogo bring a positive change in the life of Jijo? How will Jijo confront the changes, negative and positive, happening in his life? Will his latest exploits finally land him in deep trouble or will his talent save him? These are the questions lingering in Zathu fans.
