On Tuesday, the team was joined by two new faces a defender and a midfielder after impressing coach Young Chimodzi during Super League matches.

The two players are defender Pilirani Zonda from Big Bullets and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers defending midfielder Malumbo Gondwe.

Coach Young Chimodzi said he was impressed with their first training and insisted the door is still open for all the players, who will impress during League games.

“So far so good, and players are showing determination during training. I will continue monitoring players even those who are not in camp,” said Chimodzi.

During the training, players looked relaxed and composed.

However, there were some injuries like that of Yamikani Fodya, who limped off from the field of play.

Big Bullets duo of Bashir Maunde and Fischer Kondowe did not finish the training session as well due to injuries.

Kondowe said he was feeling pain on his right ribs, after sustaining an injury during their last Sunday league game against Sure Stream.

Muhammad Sulumba was in top form, as he notched most of the goals during the training.

The Nomads new catch from Blantyre United was also dangerous in releasing thunderous shots in goals.–Additional reporting by Taonga Mtambo, Nyasa Times

  1. look the the frames of those players…do they even have a diet to follow…these players do not have the muscle and body frame to play with a tem like morroco or ivory coast who can play a very physical game..as it is the coach sould either go for physical abiities or speed but it seems he is even confused on which he will depend on more…thats a fail as it is already

  2. No more lame excuses chimodzi we r fedup of watching othr countries in africon tikufuni dziko lathu

  3. May the coach drill the team in fast football especially the wingers. Our football lacks pace.
