TNM opens up ‘free’ Twitter access in Malawi: Unlimited
Malawi’s premier mobile service provider, Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) has announced the launch of Smart Free Twitter promotion to offer customers unlimited access to enjoy the Smart Data product.
During the promotion TNM subscribers will able to use Twitter services like tracking online trends, follow people, advertisement and chatting free of charge.
Announcing the offer, TNM Chief Commercial Officer Dan Makata said this is aimed at providing an opportunity to customers to enjoy unlimited access to a vital social media product available through TNMs Smart Data bouquet.
“Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows registered members to broadcast short posts called tweets and we are giving out to our customers to access this service free and enjoy on our network without any subscription or being charged for using it,” said Makata.
Makata said TNM is committed to contribute towards penetration of Internet usage and access through social media and other data products.
“As a caring and patriotic brand TNM is committed to contribute towards this evolution of internet through the development of relevant local mobile applications and local content to facilitate the delivery of a world class internet experience to its customers and Malawians at large’” he said.
The launch of free Twitter promotion comes after the launch a free internet.org that TNM is offering to its customers.
The free tweeter promotion will run for 3 months and the service is available to Pre-paid customers only.
