The graduation function took place at Chiwembe Technical Centre in Blantyre, where Flora Mwandira represented FAM President Walter Nyamilandu.

Speaking during the courses closing ceremony, Mwandira challenged the graduating coaches to go out and serve in the community, especially shaping youngsters who will take part in the Fifa/ FAM under 15 national League.

“I urge each one of you to serve the nation for the sake of developing our football in the country from the grassroots level. You should not wait for the association to draw programmes for you. The association should just come in for support,” said Mwandira.

Mwandira also saluted Burundian based Fifa instructor Dominic Niyozima for his commitment, dedication and enthusiasm towards the training.

In his remarks, Niyozima said he was satisfied with the performance of the trainers and urged them to pass on what they learnt to Malawi youths.

“They were eager to learn and l must say it was a fruitful training. We expect them to teach youngsters what they have learnt during the training,” said Niyozima.
