Rev Chimwemwe Mhango holds night of praise and worship- live DVD recording
President of Music Association of Malawi (MAM) Reverend Dr. Chimwemwe Mhango will on October 7 hold night of praise and worship where he will be recording a DVD.
The event will take place at Redeemed Presbyterian Church in Lilongwe (Area 25) from 7pm to 9pm where he will also be launching Mhango’s video collection on DVD and two special CDs Yahweh and special compilations.
Speaking in an interview Mhango said it is very significant since he has not been on stage for some time and this is like a comeback show.
“This is also what I felt the Lord inspired me to do, having written some songs of praise and worship that I want others to sing along with me in giving glory to the almighty God for all what He has done for me in the face of all what I have gone through,” he said.
He further said that he has been saving money for this event and he thanks God for providing him with the opportunity to see it come to light.
Mhango said People should expect to see a unique performance.
“It’s a moment with the Holy Spirit so more surprises in the pipe line. Come and see the goodness of the Lord. It will be an enjoyable night,” he added.
He added that the event will be spiced up with different activities like singing, dancing and joyful moments.
“I have invited the New Jerusalem choir to perform during the event because that was where my career started but Lulu will feature on the guitar on some of the songs,” he explained
The event is free and open to everyone and the dressing code will be smart casual or formal.
