The event will take place at Redeemed Presbyterian Church in Lilongwe (Area 25) from 7pm to 9pm where he will also be launching Mhango’s video collection on DVD and two special CDs Yahweh and special compilations.

Speaking in an interview  Mhango said it is very significant since he has not been on stage for some time and this is like a comeback show.

“This is also what I felt the Lord inspired me to do, having written some songs of praise and worship that I want others to sing along with me in giving glory to the almighty God for all what He has done for me in the face of all what I have gone through,” he said.

He further said that he has been saving money for this event and he thanks God for providing him with the opportunity to see it come to light.

Mhango said People should expect to see a unique performance.

“It’s a moment with the Holy Spirit so more surprises in the pipe line. Come and see the goodness of the Lord. It will be an enjoyable night,” he added.

He added that the event will be spiced up with different activities like singing, dancing and joyful moments.

“I have invited the New Jerusalem choir to perform during the event because that was where my career started but Lulu will feature on the guitar on some of the songs,” he explained

The event is free and open to everyone and the dressing code will be smart casual or formal.

  1. Best show i have attended for many many years. Mulungu simunthu kuti anganame. Those whom he has called he has indeed predestined. Keep going Abusa the Lord is on your side

  2. Zaziiii this guy is no longer popular, chibeleni cha Church ku Area 25 cha Livingstonia Synod thinking poti he was a Busa there zake sizikuyenda ali ngati mwana wotembeleredwa. Crook la Munthu ili zonse likupangazo he is trying to use his so called Christians for his personal gains devil wachabe chabe he is about to be exposed fully.

  3. Well done Abusa. All the best!!! You are my source of inspiration. Keep it up for it is far much better to listen to God than man. Ambuye apitilize kukutsogolerani Abusa.

  4. Wow! This is great to hear my pastor and friend. Those of us who have know you for the past 30 + years have seen how God has used you in His vineyard. Songs like “Ndilonjezo La Mulungu”, “Titemwanenge” and “Yobu” have reverberated across Christendom in this country and outside. Although I don’t know whether you personally composed them (but have always assumed so), to some of us, these songs have always been associated with your name and ministry over the years we have grown up together. Indeed the 40-year-old New Jerusalem Choir of the Lilongwe CCAP (Nkhoma Synod) was your launching pad and it is only befitting that they too perform during this recording session. I was privileged to watch New Jerusalem and Msosa Family (an off-shoot of the great Mhango Salvation Singers) perform at Mt. Pleasant CCAP church in Blantyre a week ago and it really took some of us 30 years + down the memory lane when we used to hear songs like “Mtundu Wanga”, “Perekani”, “Patsidya La Nyanja” and “Look Around”. True, you have gone through many experiences over the years but we thank God that He has seen you through all of them. I am personally humbled at how God works with some people around us. You are a big testimony to most of us of your generation. My prayer and hope is that God will continue to use you mightly in the church that you are now leading. Otherwise, I personally wish you and the entire “singing” Mhango family the best as you continue with the music ministry. God has really used this family to enrich many of us spiritually over a long period of time.

    Good day,

    Kent Y.G. Mphepo – Blantyre
