Accept Jesus Christ today, tomorrow is not guaranteed

Accepting Jesus Christ is the only way that guarantees eternal life. It is sad that many people think they are saved when they are not. The Pharisees, who spent most of the time opposing Jesus were in the same situation as they thought they were close to God than Jesus was, yet they were not even saved “For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see and that they which see might be made blind” (John 9:39).

John 9 talks about a man which was blind from his birth. The man was able to see again after meeting with Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, the man whose eyes were opened believed and worshipped Jesus immediately after Jesus revealed Himself as the Son of God. This means he believed that Jesus was the “Son of God”, the Savior of mankind, the redeemer of the world, and the long awaited Messiah of Israel.

The Pharisees were told many times the same but they could not catch it because of spiritual blindness.

Many are in the same situation now as they are still blind, that they cannot really understand when people are talking about being saved. They think by going to church and doing good they re saved. You can go to church for the rest of your life but still end up in hell. This is why billions are in hell today because they believed in wrong things that will not save.

When the man whose eyes were opened confessed with His mouth “Lord, I believe”, He worshipped Him meaning that true worship comes from those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior. This is why Paul tells us in Romans 10:9 that; “If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved”. You may still be praying to God before salvation but your prayers don’t get anywhere, and this is the reason why people think God hears other people’s prayers better than others.

God doesn’t want to be heard by few specific people. He wants to hear your prayers too. He did not send His only son Jesus Christ to die for those few people that have accepted Him. In fact He came for those that are sinners that they may be saved too. We are all born in sin because of the sin of the first parents and that is why God knew from the beginning that man will always fail.

Receive Jesus today, for tomorrow is never guaranteed. “Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow, for what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away” (James 4:14).

True. Many people believe that by going to church alone will save them. Actions speak louder than words. What you say and what you do in your everyday life is what matters. Some people who claim to be God fearing are the most self centred, vain and shallow minded. God is watching!!!
