Airtel adopts 2013 edition of Big Brother Africa show: The Chase

Electrifying surprises keep unveiling themselves ahead of the commencement of eighth edition of the biggest reality show on the continent, the Big Brother Africa, dubbed ‘The Chase’.

The latest news discloses that this highly billed reality show has roped in leading pan African mobile phone service provider Airtel as its headline sponsor.

Both Airtel Malawi and Multichoice Malawi have confirmed this development.

“It is indeed true that Airtel is the sponsor of this year’s Big Brother Africa show,” Multichoice Malawi Marketing Manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda confirmed.

The competition which will kick off on Sunday, May 26, 2013 is going to feature 28 new housemates from 14 countries including Malawi, all competing for a whopping $300,000 and other prizes.

Other participating countries are Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

For 91 days, Africa biggest reality series will be screened live 24/7 on DStv channels 197 and 198 while GOtv audiences will be able to see highlights.
