On this day, Airtel employees and their respective families came together from all corners of Malawi to underline the essence of family in one’s productive career life.

The day was spiced up with various activities like games, sports, competitions, teasers, dances, recognition awards and a mega party.

Airtel’s Managing Director Charles Kamoto said the Airtel Famiy day celebrated the importance of family and was also timely to ignite it’s human resource into a festive season mood.

“2015 has been a successful year to Airtel Malawi and we attribute our essence of hard work to our employees and yes, their families are instrumental to their productivity hence the need to celebrate a work-life balance achievement. Together we make the brand Airtel a growing success and we were celebrating just that and it augurs well with this  festive season,” said Kamoto.

According to Kamoto, the 2015 Airtel family day was also aimed at maximising networking and interaction amongst employees and their respective families in an open environment.

Each and every year, Airtel Malawi holds a family day to excite it’s employees and celebrate it’s success with their families together.

What about looking after the vendors selling airtime better. They get peanuts for working long hours and little to no training so they can improve their lives. Meanwhile Airtel makes millions of dollars each year from Malawians with their very high tariffs – Malawi though one of the poorest nations on earth pays some of the highest rates per MB of data in the world.

Underground root employees are being not considered why such as like brand ambassadors.such event some elements were missed, brand ambassadors, Although they might be on a short term contract but remember are the ones who also contributes a lot for Airtel brands by branding Airtel money at the market. The event like that must considered don’t be selfish a lone, you consider and check both sides up and down. I think you understand what it means. Shining with your families forgetting other potential underground staffs it unfair and we call it selfishness.
