But Jomo continues to watch his team and on Sunday was conspicuously seen cheering his club and led fans to wild scene of celebrations when Bullets clinched the Carlsberg Cup after edging Zomba United.

He was also given a medal by Football Association of Malawi (FAM) president Walter Nyamilandu in presence of FAM CEO Suzgo Nyirenda and competitions manager Gomezgan Zakazaka who earlier told Nyasa Times that Osman ban is extended to FAM cups.

Jomo said the verdict that banned him contradicts itself in the last section where it states that the punishment only applies to league games.

“I can watch cup games. I am not restricted on that according to the verdict,” he argued.

Sulom general secretary Williams Banda acknowledged the error.

Bullets were also fined K1.2 million while Epac got K350,000 fines.
