Closest contenders Mighty Be Forward Wanderers who are ontop and third placed Mafco F.C have all been rested by the Super League of Malawi (Sulom) as the league enters its week number seven.

Wanderers have so far played seven games and collected 15 points while Bullets have collected 14 points from six games but have a game in hand.

Mafco who started the league on a high note winning all their four opening matches have 13 points from eight games.

Bullets face rookies Mzuni F.C on Saturday at the Mzuzu Stadium before meeting soldiers Moyale Barracks 24 hours later at the same venue.

Struggling Moyale will be looking forward to a second consecutive win after beating Airborne Rangers 2-1 last weekend.

The soldiers have been having a poor run this season having played seven games but only managed to win twice and drawn once.

People of Dedza will also be looking forward to an entertaining encounter on Saturday as Kamuzu Barracks host former defending champions Silver Strikers who seem to regain their form.

The Bankers have played six games winning four and losing twice.

Their coach Stain Chirwa said on Wednesday that his team is now in good shape as the players have now coordinated well.

“Let me thank all our supporters for being patient as we have been struggling but now the team is in good shape and we promise to do better” said Chirwa.

Area 30 Police side welcome rookies Dedza Young Soccer while at the Zomba Community Centre ground, it will be a battle between host Red Lions and Azam Tigers.

Meanwhile Epac F.C, Civo and Surestream F.C are the team sitting in the relegation zone.
