Bullets elect new executive: Kondi claims hot seat
Big Bullets supporters have elected a new executive committee to lead the country’s soccer giants for the next three years.
As per their plan, the supporters have endorsed their former treasurer and renowned players’ scout agent Kondie Msungama as chairman during the club’s elections held Saturday at their club house.
Msungama went unopposed but the supporters were still asked to cast their votes and 293 supporters voted. He will be deputised by Sidik Malinga, who had no challenger as well, as first vice chairman.

The position of second vice chairman went to Austin Kasito who floored Mphatso Kalipinde with 258 votes to 9. The position of secretary general went to Harold Fote who had a walkover after amassing 264 votes against his sole challenger, Bullets team manager Enos Chatama’s 40.
Titha Mandiza and Macdonald Mwamadi were elected as first and second vice secretary general after getting 293 and 272 votes respectively.
Lab Enterprise Managing Director, Noel Lipipa, was enormously given the nod to take care of the team’s accounts after beating Alex Gondwe with 248 votes against 48. He will be deputised by Grace Chenda Mkandawire who went unopposed.
On the position of committee members, 14 people competed out of which 11 were voted basing on regions. In the North, Louis Mwamlenga went unopposed just like Lujerio Kambalame for the Eastern Region.
From Central Region, four people contested and three were voted as follows Joy Twaibu (76), Waheed Osman (74) and Alfred Mbale who got 73.
The Southern Region produced six members in Brian Ligomeka who topped with 270 votes, James Emmanuel Nkhoma (242) while Busy Kauzani got 223. Lyson Pidini and Morson Magombo tied with 220 votes each while the last person was Dan Mbebuwa who got 195.
Bullets’ Board of Trustees Chairman, James Busile, described the elections free and fair with no element of violence.
The elections were conducted by Southern Region Football Committee Treasurer Daud Ntanthiko, Football Association of Malawi (FAM), Commercial Manager, Casper Jangale and Bullets Trustees.
