Malawi Defence Force (MDF) authorities have trashed as “total lies” by Big Bullets that MDF agreed to have Moyale talisman Gastin Simkonda and Kamuzu Barracks play maker Harvey Nkacha loaned out to them.
Bullets general secretary Harold Fote said MDF agreed to release the players.
But military spokesperson, Kakhuta Banda, said Bullets claims were false.
He said Simkonda is among those going on a peacekeeping mission in DR Congo soon and could not join Bullets.
Kakhuta Banda also said Mkacha is not being loaned to Bullets.
“It is not happening,” said Banda.
He said Nkacha has personally rejected to join Bullets.
Mkacha told the Malawi News Agency that he was not aware of any deal with ‘The Peoples Team.’
“I am just hearing the reports in the media, but to say the truth l am blank on the deal. My bosses have not told me anything and there is nothing on the table agreed between me and Bullets,” said Mkacha.
Bullets have only made an addition of a free agent striker Chiukepo Msowoya to their initial squad for the CAF club champions league.
The Malawi champions are slated to face Club Fomboni on February 14 away in the Comoros in their preliminary round first leg.Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
