Bullets rediscover winning form – Coach Kananji

Nyasa Big Bullets stand-in coach Elia Kananji believes the team is now getting back to their absolute best form.

Kananji: Bullets back to winning ways

Bullets extended their winning streak courtesy of a narrow 1-0 victory against TNM Super League defending champions Kamuzu Barracks (KB) at Kalulu Stadium in Nchalo, Chikwawa District on Saturday.

Defender Maneno Nyoni  goal helped the Peoples Team side to keep the winning momentum, indicating to Kananji that perhaps their title-winning form of the past is slowly being rediscovered.

The win pushed Bullets to 15 points from nine games whereas KB are eighth with 11 points.

“We are slowly but steadily rediscovering our form and this is good. But we still need to do more ,” Kananji said.

“We need to keep winning games because we’ve lost too many points. But three points against the defending  feels good,” said Kananji, adding “we hope the storm is over.”

KB Team Manager, Francis Shaba,  congratulated the Bullets for the win.
