Nyasa Big Bullets have won the race on Blantyre United striker Muhammad Sulumba, who was loaned out to Be Forward Wanderers last season , as he has put pen to paper for the Peoples Team on Wednesday.
The transfer represents something of a coup for the champions, who hopes the hitman can be instrumental to their campaign for title defence.
Bullets Vice general secretary Kelvin Moyo confirmed the news to Nyasa Times.
“We got him! It’s now water under the bridge. Bullets have signed Sulumba for three years,” said Moyo.
He said Bullets are excited to sign Sulumba describing him “one of the finest playmakers” in the game locally.
Moyo said “its real pleasure to have secured his signature.”
Bullets have also other three players that have signed pre-contracts.
They are Civo United defenders Emmanuel Zoya and John Lanjesi and Tigers goalkeeper Enerst Kakhobwe.
Moyo said they expect to make more signings before the transfer window shuts on March 31.
