‘Executive surrogates’ Fabiano and Molande- Malawi flagship newspaper
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Emmanuel Fabiano and State House director of communications Bright Molande were branded “executive surrogates” in a newspaper photo caption when they attempted to defend the President’s departure from a long-standing tradition to update the nation through a news conference.
MalawI flagship newspaper The Daily Times did put a photo of Fabiano and Molande addressing the media , arguing that the Presudent not mandated by any legal statutes to address the media on his return abroad and captioned it “executive surrogates.”
