Fischer in furious bust-up with  coaches after substitution dispute

Trouble appears to be brewing in the background at Nyasa Big Bullets between veteran midfielder Fischer ‘Jahman’ Kondowe and coaches with reports of a major bust-up between them during Sunday’s TNM Super League encounter against Mafco FC at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

Fischer Kondowe: Yeah man, I was furious
Fischer Kondowe: Yeah man, I was furious

Kondowe was substituted in the second half for Mc Pharen Ngwira, a thing  that irritated the veteran midfielder  who was walking slowly  going towards outside the field of play.

When the kit-master Malumbo gave him a bottle of water to cool off, Kondowe threw it away infront of the coaches in anger while telling them, “ Mwandilakwira kunditulutsa ngati simufuna kuti ndizimenya kungondiuza.”

A Bullets player, who was on the bench confided with Nyasa Times that assistant coach Mabvuto Lungu responded to him that, “ Zabobo izi zampira.”

“He  was actually ‘furious’ at what he took as  the coaches  continued criticism of his performance,” said the player, who opted for anonymity.

Far from being the first time that  Kondowe  has argued with coaches , the incident bore a startling resemblance in tone to the bust-up the veteran player had with same coaches   last season.

He  was dropped by  the same coaches  in the aftermath of that incident and as a reaction, Kondowe drove to their rivals training camp then at BAT ground, where he requested to train with them.
