Fote roughed up by Bullets fan

He is always on the spotlight for his unruly attitude towards officials and fellow sports journalists and no wonder he got in the wrong arm of an angry Bullets fan.

Fote: Attacked

Peter Fote who works for Matindi Television was beaten by an angry Bullets fan before being rescued by some police officers during  an Airtel Top 8 match involving Bullets and Silver Strikers.

Fote who was spotted close to Bullets bench soon after the second leg match at Mulanje Park looked too emotional and no wonder he got into a wrong fan.

According to our findings, the fan was not happy with Fote following an exchange of vulgar words between the two and as a result, he started chasing him before slapping him in front of police officers who had to rescue him afterwards.

It is not known what the two had argued on with Fote believed to be a Bullets fan which at times affect his output work.

This is not the first time for Fote to be on the spotlight and a few years ago he was suspended by FAM for spying on Malawi National football team.

This reporter seems to be an enemy of Peter Fote. He accuses Fote of lack of professionalism but this article stinks a lot due to biased reporting. The writer is clearly celebrating the beating of Fote without getting the facts on the ground.
