Gabadinho flew all the way to meet his top fan on Friday taking advantage of a free weekend.

The unnamed fan caught the attention of the Malawian star after his name was written on the fan’s T-Shirt.

“A few weeks ago I saw a picture of Malawian kid with a T-shirt my name written on the back with black marker and everyone in Ntcheu calls him Gabadinho,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

“So I wanted to meet the hero of mine and I asked people who helped me the whereabouts of this young Gabadinho.”

He said the free weekend offered him the space to make arrangements and meet the fanatic to appreciate his gesture.

“I am inspired by his gesture. I play football for people like him. I hope I will live to make him proud so he makes his family and country proud,” he said.

He said he had so much fun to have met the fanatic.

But he did not disclose what he offered the young Gabadinho.

This is the second time that he has made low profile surprise visit after another one at Queens Central Hospital in.Blantyre where he donated items as part of celebrating MTN 8 Cup victory.

The gesture also reflects that the player is doing fine financially with a report income of over K2 million a month.

Bidvest Wits, who are currently leading South Africa top Premiership league, beat Africa Champions League champions Mamelodi Sundowns 3-0.
