I’ll free Malawians from poverty bondage – Singh
Presidential Candidate for the opposition United Independence Party (UIP) Helen Singh says the only way to deal with financial constraints which has stifled Malawi’s development for the 50 years since independence is to vote in new political party with new blood on 20th May elections.
Abusa Singh was speaking this during her campaign tour in Neno district where she promised to form a decentralized government which will prioritise the needs of the people if voted into power on May 20.
According to Singh the four political parties which have previously ruled Malawians are composed of greedy people who always prioritise serving their bellies than people who vote them into office.
“I am not going into government not to enrich myself but to give medicine to the sick Malawi’s economy which is at the verge of collapsing,” she said.
On agriculture Singh says it is disheartening to learn that the previous administrations have been sidelining Neno district which has potential to develop Malawi with its favourable climate and fertile soil for fruits.
Singh said her government will construct small factories in the area that will be producing juices that will be exported outside Malawi.
“This will attract potential donors to construct a tar mark road from Tsangano turn off to Mwanza district so that farmers will be able totransport their produce easily,” she said.
Singh urged people to vote her into government because she says is trustworthy and servant of God who cannot cheat Malawians.
