The match will be played at the Civo Stadium in the Capital City Lilongwe on Sunday 1st November, 2015.

Fam Competitions Manager Gomezgani Zakazaka said during the week that everything including security matters have been properly arranged.

According to Zakazaka, those to watch from open stands will have to pay K1,000.00, K3,000.00 covered stands while VIP stands are pegged at K5,000.00.

Tickets for the match will be sold on the same day of the match right at the stadium.

Zakazaka further urged supporters from both side to maintain the discipline they have shown throughout the 2015 Standard Bank Competition.

Speaking on behalf of the Sponsors, Head of Marketin Thoko Unyolo said the sponsors have lined up several attractive activities to make the event colourful.

She however kept a tight lid on the activities to take place but only revealed that there will be a street parade led by the Malawi Police Band.

“All the good things we have lined up will be unveiled right at the venue” said Unyolo.

Unyolo further hailed the supporters for the good behaviour they have shown throughout the tournament as no act of violence was reported hence describing the competition as a success.

Meanwhile, Wanderers coach Elia Kananji says he is hoping to win his second trophy this season after guiding the Nomads to a Carlsberg Cup glory.

He however admited it will be a tough encounter.

On the other hand, Civo will also be looking forward to nothing but a win this is according to Captain Emmanuel Zoya.

The players have since received a morale boost followong the announcement by Civo Executive Committee that the players will share 60% of the prize money.

The winner of this year’s Standard Bank Competition which happens to be the 9th edition will walk away with K10 Million prize money plus a trophy.
