Japanese player Nakamura presented to Wanderers fans
Hundreds of Mighty Be Forward Wanderers supporters converged at Kamuzu Stadium on Tuesday morning to welcome Japenese new catch Genki Nakamura, who trained with the rest of the squad for the first time since he jetted in the country last week.
Beaming with confidence, Nakamura told Nyasa Times before training that he was “very happy” with the warm welcome by the Nomads fans and promised for more good things to come.
“I am happy with the way l have been welcomed. Malawi is really the warm heart of Africa and l must admit that Wanderers fans, players and the technical panel have warmly welcomed me, and l feel at home,” he said.
“ Thank you for the great welcome. Be Forward with Wanderers, Zikomo!”
During training, Nakamura received a loud applause from the Nomads fans with his one touch passes and skills when juggling with the ball.
Wanderer’s coach Jack Chamangwana described Nakamura as a “exceptional footballer”basing on his passes and skill.
Our Senior Photo-Journalist Jeromy Kadewere visited Wanderers training grounds where he captured Nakamura.

Wonderers prayers open your eyes. Tell your sponsors to give you honor as they are honoring their own man Nakamura. You are not second class. If their own man is given a good house, they should give you also.If he is being paid in Dollars, You should be paid in Dollars.Noma officials why did you accept such a colonial idea? Nowander we are failing to develop this country because we take ourselves as second class people. If they are giving the K106,000,000.00 let Nakamura be in the same budget. You can not allow somebody from Japan to be given millions of dollars while his team mates are just getting K20,000. Wake up Noma club.

Indeed, if Nakamura was of high calibre or international standard he wouldnt have opted for a team in Malawi. Can we compare Japan clubs/league to Malawi’s? If he were a good footballer he would have been somewhere in Europe NOT in Malawi for green pasture. He is a spent force, bolanso ma player athu akumenya pa Joziwa.
ndiye chani
Tose tiziwonerlimoz
TIMU YA MAPULOFESHONI IYI!!!!
Nyasatimes, Nakamura does not have news for Malawians let alone Be Forward Wanderers. I do not think he is better than Gabadinho Mhango who is plying his footballing career in South Africa. Nyasa Bullets ithana naye uyu. Muuzeni kuti machende ache. Tell him he has to be careful with maralia to avoid death as was the case with Atsu. Nakamura, machende ako!
My message goes to “malawian wonderers players” your friend Nakamura will be getting four million kwacha pamene inu ka seventy thousand kwacha kokha osamakamupatsa mpira kuti achinye azikautenga yekha nanga mesa ndi odziwa kuposa nonsenu.
