Japanese player Nakamura presented to Wanderers fans

Hundreds of Mighty Be Forward Wanderers supporters converged at Kamuzu Stadium on Tuesday morning to welcome Japenese new catch Genki Nakamura, who trained with the rest of the squad for the first time since he jetted in the country last week.

Beaming with confidence, Nakamura told Nyasa Times before training that he was “very happy”  with the warm welcome by the Nomads fans and promised for more good things to come.

“I am happy with the way l have been welcomed. Malawi is really the warm heart of Africa and l must admit that Wanderers fans, players and the technical panel have warmly welcomed me, and l feel at home,” he said.

“ Thank you for the great welcome.  Be Forward with Wanderers, Zikomo!”

During training, Nakamura received a loud applause from the Nomads fans with his one touch passes and skills when juggling with the ball.

Wanderer’s coach Jack Chamangwana described Nakamura as a “exceptional footballer”basing on his passes and skill.
