At the top of the rankings, World Cup 2014 winners Germany remain on top while the big mover in the rankings has been Belgium, who have overtaken Argentina into second place.

Colombia and Brazil sit in fourth and fifth place respectively. European neighbours Belgium have moved into second spot at the expense of Argentina.

France are the only side to break into the top 10 in the rankings, as they take Switzerland’s place in 9th, while Spain lie only one ranking point ahead of the Swiss in 10th. The Netherlands, Portugal and Uruguay make up the rest of the top 10.

Algeria and Ivory Coast, who have both dropped a global ranking spot, remain first and second on the African continental rankings.

Bafana Bafana have plummeted down the latest FIFA rankings, dropping 10 places in the World Rankings on Thursday.

South Africa are now ranked as the world’s 69th best side in the world and another alarming indicator for the coach of the national team is that Bafana Bafana have slipped to 18th place on the continent.
