Malawi orders High Commissioner, 3 diplomats to return home in seven days from South Africa
Government has fired four diplomats at Malawi High Commission in Pretoria South Africa including the head of the mission and they have been given seven days each to pack up and return home.

According to Foreign Affairs Ministry, Malawian High Commissioner to South Africa Professor Chrissie Kaponda, Defence Attaché Colonel Lawrence Mambo, first secretary (protocol) Kondwani Kondwani and Daniel Salimu second secretary (social services) were effectively out of work and must return home.
“I write to inform you that government has directed that the exigencies of services require that you be recalled to Malawi with immediate effect,” reads a communication from Foreign Affairs Ministry signed by acting Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Corporation Veronica Chidothe.
The letter dated November 1 2018 under reference number EA/1/3/55B says the recalled diplomats are expected to return to Malawi within seven days.
High Commissioner Kaponda confirmed she has been recalled but could not state the reasons behind the recall.
Meanwhile, the two that have survived the chop are those related to the power-that-be. They fare deputy head of Mission Gloria Bamusi and Rosaline Mapundula, First Secretary (Political Affairs).
Bamusi becomes the de facto acting head of the mission.

More over the head of mission was a bad woman at work. If she comes who gonna employ her? Being educated and being civilized are two different things

When you are on mission you serve the interests of the government.,Simple. If you are an opposition member you don’t show your colours in public. If they were printing utm materials while in Pretoria Abd sending them to Saulos then you got it wrong

UTM Sympathizers? DPP yakhaula. Ndiye muchotsa angati? They are going back June, 2019. Pepani a Fabiano, or is it a Dausi/ Mchacha?
Do have evidence that you say they were utm members something is fishy here.
One can’t serve two masters. SIMPLE! If they were busy sending printed UTM materials then they have gotten what they wanted. When appointed in these posts one serves according to policies of the government of the day.
Will the recalled diplomats be able to finish all formalities in 7 days? Clearing motor vehicles for diplomats may take two weeks or more. What wrong have they done?
They will obviously be there for more than 7 days and the professor will look foolish again. Muzipanga maganizo awumunthu. Inu mukapita ku America kokacheza chabe mumakakha kupitirira mwezi wanthunthu. Malamulo antchito samalora zautsiru ngati zimenezi. I am happy, these are UTM members.
Are they Malawians? Zazi these are earthly positions. There have been people before them n these positions.
She has got qualifications, she will go back to her old job.
She will go back to her lecturing job. After all she is a professor! Vito ndichani?
Malawi……….???????
We knew these people would pack up and go. They have been busy with UTM errands including assisting in printing party regalia and fundraising. Besides, these people, just like their predecessors, are preoccupied with selling beer, cigarettes, whiskeys, etc to Nigerians in Pretoria which they obtain cheaply from diplomatic shops in Pretoria. Shame on Malawi diplomats!
Whatever they may have done, the president must follow labour rules. At the end of the day it is Malawians going to pay for the excesses that the president is committing. Achotsenikoni koma za 7 days izo kuwonetsa ukali sizabwino. Administrative blunders are not allowed in labour relations and the professor in constitutional law president must be the fist to know. Chapwa. Koma achokedi akuluwa. Tizizawonso zimenezi mpakaso zaka 5 kutsogoloku. Ndiye teremu yachiwiri yizakhala bwanji ngati yoyamba yonyengerera iri chonchi nkhanza, kuba, katangale, kusamva zanzawo, kuzikonda…….? Eish.

That’s why some of us don’t accept appointed jobs by anyone unless the risk is worth it. Anthu ambirinu mumangotengeka ndi ma appointments. This is cruel yes but is it a surprise coming from this government?
Victims like these need to be protected by better reforms that no stupid politician will tamper with.
Welcome back to Malawi. Mutipeza. Ife kuno nde tikuthamanga thamanga mu Lilongwemu tokha tokha kuti ana adye.
Next time turn down these unsafe appointments.

This is the reason why Mavuto Bamusi is busy defending government shit all the time, selfish kind of.
