The Flames rose up ten spots to 98 from 108 in Jul, a perfect tonic for new coach Ernest Mtawali and his assistant Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan.

The next fixture for the Flames will be against Swaziland’s Sihlangu on September 4 away in Mbabane in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

  1. 108 to 98, Young Chimodzi’s achievement, together with Jack Chamangwana, now fired. This only shows Football Association of Malawi is in a hurry. Results don’t come overnight. It takes time.

  2. Mr or Mrs Afanaze take it from now that Ernest Mtawali is the head coach of our national team and Ramadan is the deputy .So don’t mislead pple with your comments otherwise he hasn’t done anything before to the national team .

  3. What Afanize has commented shows petty jealousy because no where in the world to you recognize deputy coach to be performing while Head coach is learning. My friend, you don’t know what Mtawali has achieved in South Africa and with our Under 20 National Team. Let’s wait and see for the coming games.
