Malawi U-20 beat Botswana, sail through
Malawi under-20 football team on Friday sailed through to the next round of CAF Junior Championship after beating Botswana 2-0 away in a return match.
In the first leg which was played in Blantyre a week ago, the two sides drew 1-1 which gave Botswana an advantage of an away goal.
But on Friday, the Junor Flames under the tutelage of coach Enerst Mtawali came full force to secure their next round berth by getting an outright 2-1 victory and winning the tie 2-3 on aggregate.

“It’s wonderful that we have won. It was not easy but we are through.” Mtawali said from Botswana.
“These lads have potential. We need support to develop them into great stars,” he added.
Malawi will meet DRC in the next qualifying round. The team that will win qualifies for the final of CAF Junior Championship
