Mike Akitivi strikes deal with BenSam Entertainment
Up and coming musician Mike Akitivi has all the reasons to smile as he has been incorporated in one of Malawi’s elite management companies, BenSam Entertainment.
The Lilongwe based stable, which manages well-known artists Dali and Blaze, is responsible for the release and promotion of the singer’s latest release, Pulambala, which features musician/producer BFB.
BenSam Entertainment, co-owned by revered video director and photographer, Ben Sam, and marketer Steve Kamanga, will also be responsible for Akitivi’s future music projects.
“In Malawi you can’t talk about urban music industry without the mention of BenSam Entertainment [and] in that regard when an opportunity came I couldn’t hesitate to engage them as their CV in music is second to none,” commented Akitivi when confirming the stable’s involvement in his new song.
Pulambala is a track that has been produced and co-written by Lilongwe based the Lilongwe-based producer BFB.
Akitivi is currently working on his debut album Ndilira Nthawi Yoyamba due next year. The singer has already released well-known songs such as Christina which he did with Lulu, Ndapata featuring Martse and Za Ma Lovethat features Wendy Harawa.
